Madventure 360 camera connection
Here is a visual illustration of the parts of the Madventure 360 camera:
Take note that you will need to insert a microSD card into the camera in order for it to take pictures. An SD card must be inserted into the MicroSD Card Slot located on the side of the camera:
Please don’t forget to make sure the camera is charged!
The steps to connect your device
- Power up the camera by clicking on the Power/Switch button. You will hear a bleep from the camera signalling that it is on.
- Make sure the Wi-Fi on the camera is switched on as well. To check if the camera Wi-Fi is on, look for a blinking light beside the Wi-Fi button.
- The light indicator beside the Wi-Fi button would appear blinking if the camera is not connected to any device:
- If you do not see the Wi-Fi indicator blinking, turn it on by clicking on the Wi-Fi button beside the indicator as shown above.
- If the camera and its Wi-Fi are powered up, let's look at your mobile device.
- Open your device's Wi-Fi settings:
- The Madventure 360 Wi-Fi hotspot has the label QJXJ followed by a six-digit numeric code.
- Key in the default password: 12345678.
- You will hear the camera bleep once and see the Wi-Fi indicator turn from blinking to solidly lit to indicate your device is now connected. This means that you are ready to create your tour!
- Note that while you are connected to the camera via Wi-Fi, you will not be able to connect to the Internet with your device.
Note: If you get a new device or reinstall the DocuSketch app, you will need to follow this process again.
