Ricoh Theta SC2 Business / Z1 Camera: How to download images from the camera

This guide provides clear, step-by-step instructions for transferring images from your RICOH THETA SC2 for Business camera to a computer or mobile device. It includes instructions for Windows, macOS and the RICOH THETA mobile app, so you can easily access and manage your 360° images across all platforms.
Windows Instructions:
1. Connect the RICOH THETA to your computer using the USB cable.
2. Wait for Windows to detect the device. You should see a pop-up in the lower right corner. Click on "Open device to view files".
3. Navigate to: This PC > RICOH THETA > DCIM > RICOH

4. Select the images you want, right-click to Copy, and Paste them into your desired folder on your computer.
Mac Instructions
Option 1: Using Photos App
1. Connect the RICOH THETA to your Mac.
2. Open the Photos app (or it may open automatically).
3. Select your RICOH THETA under Devices.
4. Choose the images and click "Import All" or select individual files to import.
Option 2: Using Image Capture
1. Open Image Capture (Applications > Utilities).

2. Select RICOH THETA from the device list.
3. Select the images you want.
4. Click "Import" or "Import All" to save them to a folder. Your images will be transferred and is ready for use!
Transferring Images via the THETA App
Open the THETA app on your smartphone.
The shooting screen will appear.
Tap the [×] icon in the upper-left corner.
A timeline of transferred images will be displayed under [Device images].
Tap [Cam images] to view images stored in the camera’s internal memory.
Tap the selection icon to open the selection screen.
Select the images you want to transfer.
You can select multiple images; a check mark will appear for each selected image.
Tap the Select All button to select all images.
Tap the Cancel button to clear all selections.

Tap [Transfer] to begin the process.
The app will display the transfer progress on screen.
Open your phone’s Photos or Gallery app to confirm the images were transferred.
