How to Check the Status of an Estimate Request

Tap the project card. Scroll down and check the status of your estimate in the Estimates section:

The status of your estimate can be:

  • New: An estimator has not been assigned yet

  • In progress: The estimate is currently being worked on

  • Sketch in progress: Waiting for the sketch to be ready

  • Response needed: Estimate is on hold until the customer provides the requested information

  • Rejected: Please see below reasons for rejection

    • Customer’s request

    • Not enough data

    • Other (to be discussed with Estimators)

    Note: If the original estimate is rejected, we should not allow ordering revisions.

  • Done: The estimate is ready

If the estimator left a comment for your estimate, you can view it by tapping the estimate card and then tapping the speech bubble icon:

On Web Portal

Click the "Request estimate" button on the project card:

Click the "View Estimator comment" or “View Rejection reason” button to read the comment:
