How to request an Estimate Revision

Article summary

To order an estimate revision, simply find the virtual tour for that estimate on the Web Portal. Once you find the virtual tour click the "Estimates" button:

Once inside the Estimates section, find the estimate you would like to have a revision completed for and click the arrow to the right of the order details:

The order will show up for the estimate type you have previously had DocuSketch complete. Please then click the revision button:

Once you choose the Order Revision option, you will fill out a short form to provide additional information on the revision request. 

DocuSketch has prefilled dropdown menu options to choose from, but you can also type in the reasons for your revision request. You can also add additional notes and upload files just like in the original estimate order form.

Once the estimate revision has been requested, you will see a revision line added to the estimate order. You can track the status of the estimate order here as well.

After this is completed, a revision request is sent to the DocuSketch Estimating Team. Our goal is to provide your revision by the end of the next business day.

Once the Estimate Revision is completed, the user requesting the revision will receive an email notification with the revised .ESX file and Rough Draft PDF for review. The status will also change to show the completion:

Any DocuSketch user within your organization will also be able to click the arrow to open up the files to review and download the .ESX and Rough Draft PDF.
