My camera is not connecting to my device (DS1)

If you are having trouble connecting your camera or getting an error message "No connection with your camera," here are some things that you can try to do.
1. Check if the camera is switched on.
To check if your DS1 camera is switched on, simply check if the DS1 screen displays its camera view. There is also a light indicator under DS1 screen that lights up if the camera is on.
2. Check the battery of your camera.
Sometimes low battery status on the camera affects connectivity as well. Make sure your camera is charged.
To check your camera's battery level, take a look at your camera's display. It will show you if the battery is low.
If your camera is switched on and charged but you still cannot connect it, see the information below for other things you can try.
3. Check the distance to your camera.
Distance between the camera and device is important for the successful connection process. The camera's maximum effective range is within 10 feet.
4. Check if you have keyed the correct Wi-Fi password.
Make sure to identify the DS1 camera’s Wi-Fi network name: XX XXXXXX.OSC Make sure to key in the correct camera password. For DS1 Camera, the default Wi-Fi Password is 88888888:
