How to Download Video Comments

Video Comments can be downloaded to your computer. They can then be shared individually from your computer or used for documentation purposes. There are 2 methods to download Video Comments.

Method 1

1. First, from the DocuSketch Web Portal, open the 360° Player for the project that contains the video comment to be downloaded.

2. Locate the floor and room that contains the video comment to be downloaded. Video comments are differentiated by the PLAY button on the comment type indicator.

3. Open the comment to be downloaded by left clicking on the comment.

4. The comment opens. Here, you can play the comment back to review it if you like. 

5. When ready to download, find the three dots in the lower right side of the window to open up the menu:

6. Left click on the 3 dots, find and select "Download:"

7. The file will download as file type MP4 to your computer. Select where you would like to save the video file:

The video comment can now be shared separately from your project.

Method 2

Search for the project you wish to download the comment files from. Click the "Download" button:

Select the download button under "Comments" and downloadthe file that corresponds to your computer's Operating System. This typically downloads a .CSV file:

Open the CSV file and click on the video comment links:

Clicking or coping and pasting the link on a new tab on your browser should bring up the comment video. You may download the video by clicking on the three dots on the lower right hand corner of the video:

Select "Download:"
