A. Ricoh SC2B is no longer being manufactured, which prompted the shift to DocuSketch DS1 Camera.

A. DS1 Camera provides the same level of quality and accuracy as Ricoh SC2B but with better battery life and memory storage options.
3. Q. How does the new camera differ from the previous one?
A. DocuSketch DS1 Camera offers swappable batteries and memory card support, which Ricoh Theta SC2 did not have.
4. Q. Can I use both Ricoh and DS1 at the same time?
A. Yes. Simply make sure to have the latest version of the DocuSketch App.
5. Q. Why don’t I see the DS1 as an option to connect to the DocuSketch App?
A. You must use the most recent version of the DocuSketch App. Log out then log back into the app.

A. DocuSketch DS1 Camera has a screen but is not essential, as the primary operation is through the DocuSketch app.

A. DocuSketch DS1 Camera is available through the usual channels for new purchases (however, you can continue using the Ricoh SC2B if you already own it).
