# What do I do if my camera does not power on?

There are several things you can do if your camera will not power on:

- **Check camera power.** It could be that the camera is low on power. Plug the camera in to a charger for 1-2 hours and power it on to see if it works after charging.
- **Check operating conditions.** The camera may not function as well in temperature extremes.
- **Has the camera been dropped?** Blunt impacts may cause the camera to malfunction.
