Ordering Requirements

You must be subscribed to DocuSketch's estimating service. If you are not currently a subscriber to DocuSketch or our estimating service, please contact us at help@docusketch.com for more information.

To order your estimate through our estimating service, you must first have an uploaded tour and a DocuSketch-generated sketch completed.

Please follow the steps below to order an estimate from DocuSketch.

On the Mobile App

Note: To request an estimate, your tour must be uploaded and a sketch must be ordered.

Find the tour in your tour list (as shown in the screenshot below). Tap the three dots in the lower right corner of the tour to open the associated menu. From that menu, select the 'Request estimate' option:

In the next window, fill in all required information as indicated by the asterisks:

The 'Options' category opens radio buttons that allow you to select whether the customer is a business and whether to apply sales tax to the estimate:

The 'Estimate type' dropdown should be opened and completed. Note that each category in this section can be expanded for more detailed selections. You can select only one category for 'Water,' but you may choose multiple options under 'Fire,' 'Contents,' 'Temporary repairs,' 'Reconstruction,' and 'Other' estimate types:

For more information on the types of estimate you may order, please see: Estimate Order Types.

Next, be sure your scope of work is attached. If you have used the DocuSketch scope of work tool, a link to that document will appear as highlighted in the image below. You can also add any additional notes in the provided area below:

If you have another type of document that includes your scope notes, you can tap the 'Add file' button to find and attach that file, as indicated in the screenshot below:

Once all fields are complete, tap the 'Finish' button.

The mobile app will include a tag on your tour indicating an estimate has been ordered:

On the Web Portal

You are also able to order your estimate from the Web Portal.

Note: To request an estimate, your tour must be uploaded and a sketch ordered.

Find your project and click on the  "Request estimate" button:

The Estimates window will open. Fill in all the pertinent information. Required fields are indicated by the red asterisk.

The Project Manager/Technician section at the top allows you to provide contact information. This information will be used by the DocuSketch estimator to reach out to you for any additional details needed to complete the estimate:

If no carrier is involved in the claim, enter 'Self Pay' in the 'Carrier name' field and leave the 'Apply guidelines' field blank:

Note that the web portal estimate form allows you to attach scope related documents from your computer:

Once all fields are complete, click 'Finish' at the bottom of the form.
