# DS1 Camera: How to switch off the camera's auto sleep feature

You may switch off the camera's auto sleep feature by following these steps:

1. Swipe down on the main screen:

2. Select the **cog icon**:

3. Select "**Auto Sleep**" and update it to "**Never**:"

**Note**: This helps keep the camera from auto-sleeping which disconnects it from your mobile device while working on a job.
