Overview

Sketches are drafted layouts that provide users a top-down perspective of the property:

Such sketches can be ordered through the DocuSketch system however, a 360 tour of the property must be created and uploaded first, after which the sketch can be requested.

Sketch types & Overnight delivery

DocuSketch is pleased to offer either Xactimate or Symbility ready sketches.  

Overnight delivery is available for your sketch orders as illustrated below. Depending on your subscription, an additional fee will be applied for Overnight delivery.

Automatic sketch generation

The DocuSketch mobile app has a feature that allows for Automatic Sketch Generation. Caution should be used if you are interested in using this feature. Toggling on Automatic Sketch Generation will result in a sketch being requested and a sketch credit being consumed for every tour that is uploaded. This feature is available from settings on the DocuSketch app:

Once this option is toggled on, an option will prompt, allowing users to choose what file type would they want to go for prior to uploading the tour:

Select either Verisk™ (Xactimate®) or CoreLogic® (Symbility).

Once an option is chosen, select "Remember My Choice" to proceed with the upload. An alert is then displayed to notify that the chosen option will be remembered in future uploads moving forward:

The tour is then uploaded after tapping on "OK." A sketch is then automatically requested after uploading the tour.

Additional options on this prompt pop-up are the following:

Turn off Automatic Sketch Request

Selecting this option disables Automatic Sketch Generation and proceeds with uploading the tour without a sketch request.

Cancel

Selecting this option cancels the tour upload.
