Log into the Web Portal and click the "Create project" button in the upper right corner of the screen:
You will then be directed to the Create project page.
In the “Name” field, label your project using your preferred naming convention. We recommend using a consistent naming convention that makes it easy for your team to locate and identify projects. For example, include details like the claim number, client name, address, etc., in the project name:
Check the “I know camera height and approve it is correct” box. For DocuSketch° DS1 Camera enter the camera height as 5'2", which is the standard height of the fully extended tripod with the camera:
Note: If your camera is not a DocuSketch° DS1 Camera, the camera height on a fully extended tripod might be different. Please, make sure you enter accurate camera height for your camera.
In the Address section type the House number, Street, City, State/Province, and Zip code:
You may also add details such as Job number, Loss date, Insurance carrier name, Insurance carrier claim number, Adjuster name, Adjuster email, Property type, and Loss type:
Choosing the correct loss type helps categorize the project accurately, ensuring proper documentation and streamlined communication throughout the restoration process.
If you select "Water" as the loss type, an additional field will appear, allowing you to choose specific water categories. This helps further classify the water damage, providing more detailed information for accurate assessment and restoration planning:
The "Other" field enables you to manually enter a specific loss type that doesn’t fit into the predefined categories. This flexibility ensures that unique or less common types of losses are accurately documented, allowing for a more tailored approach to project management and reporting:
Click the “Next” button to continue to the Floors and Rooms Section:
Follow the steps below to add each room to your project as you move through the building.
Click the floor dropdown to select the floor level:
Click the “Choose your file” to upload a 360° image of the room:
A corresponding number will appear in the Room field once a file is selected:
You can add multiple shots by clicking the “Choose your file” button again.
Click the “Create project & finish" button to complete the project creation steps:
