Article summary

Scope of Work is another option you may wish to use prior to uploading your project.

What is it for?

Scope of Work is mainly used to convey and document work orders. This can be conveyed to employees, subordinates and estimators.

How to use it?

Open any room in your project in the DocuSketch app on your device. Scroll down to find the button that has a hammer icon and says "Add". When you click this "Add" button, a list of scoping categories will open:

Tap any category to open additional options for that category. Continue to drill down to add activity codes and quantities. Repeat this process for each scoping category you need and for every room that requires a scope:

When you upload your project, the Scope of Work you've added will also be uploaded. You will almost instantly receive an email with your scope notes attached in a Word document. There is a charge to use this feature, based on your DocuSketch subscription, of $8-$10 per project.
